Original issue vs reissue vinyl. Purchased a new copy of cosmos factory lately. Reissues is a recurrent topic among vinyl junkies. A looser term reissue applies to a wider variety of releases. Found an old record that looks and feels new.

The original was muchbetter. Seems like sound from the barrel with boosted bass and trebble. Plus reissue vinyl vs original yodeling and more ama duration. All but perhaps 1 or 2 of the used vinyl purchased from local shops i would nt grade above a good.

Channel 33 rpm 30 541 views. Original or re issues which sounds better. The sv reissue was bright and hard by comparison. Mfsl sounds very poor on nearly all of releases.

The bottom line is be careful. Are much much greater on used. Although i do prefer to get the best master so if there is a reissue with fairly better mastering i ll get that or vice versa. That said many factors help determine whether you ve purchased a good or bad pressing of a record.

If the original is more than that then i will look at the reissue. Just because something s been pressed on 180 gram vinyl doesn t mean its going to sound good or that it was sourced from analog. I had so much fun the first time i decided to do 2 back to back episodes. But the 25 rule holds pretty steady.
